I was playing around on the Sketchclub app on my iPad mini and decided I would try a still life painting for one of the competitions. I can’t remember where I placed, but I did! Not too bad for my first try at a digital still life.
This was for the competition where I could only use ONE of the many brushes available. That suited me just fine, seeing as how traditionally I could create a complete piece in just charcoal or pencil on paper.
I’m proud of this. Hopefully I will create a more photorealistic looking piece digitally. Because that’s my ultimate goal: To achieve hyperrealism without the use of a projector. Anyway this was a great training session for my eyes!
